Am the preacher of rectitude
The teacher of truth
Called the crazy blunt truth
Who blows the prudent truth
With the flute of justice
It’s all for the people
It’s all for the Younkers
Who bears the yoke.
The pitchers pitches for right
The creatures cries for light
Ages have come by
The quest quite the same
There’s no lightening without thunder
The wonders that sounds brings the light
Is no blunder.
Where are the youth?
Here is the fluted truth
Birds in the sky are tired of the cliché
‘We are the future leader’,
‘leader of tomorrow’,
Panting for the morrow never to come
If we don’t track today.
The leading dead causes the living to bleed
Bleeding pen writes.
In a mansion full of revelation
The aged folk mount the corridor of power
The young folk are the gate keeper
The Dogs likened unto thugs
The enslaved masterpiece without peace
Independent we claim
But blinded by the light
The idiocy of the youth!.
How can the dead be full of power ;
the grave replied! Money is power.
The lad is the true power of the country
We are the work force all the time
Yet powerless all the time
This isn’t once upon a time
It is all the time.
In the vision of the pitcher that felt like illusion
But wasn’t hallucination,
The youth once led before encroachment
Of the dark days.
No livelihood in the youth brotherhood
So they call us the lazy one yet the dark weapon
Industrious but destruction for our own vision
Of leading with a mantle.
Mouth we have
but speak not
Is the best legacy,
or you're dead by the law.
Freedom of speech is now a hate preach,
The teacher and preacher of truth flute.
It is high time we hug the truth
Lets drink with the mug
The fruit of independence
We are the fruit
The fragrance of the nation
So arise oh compatriot youth
The time is now!
To take the Mantle!!.
Nigeria at sweet sixty
Yet no unity but disunity
We call white racist
But black are full of racism
Calamities befall communities
When diversity have caused divisibility
No love, no serenity
We need a federation not a confederation
It will be a sweet sixty and eternity
Only if we celebrate the past and innovative the future now.
